About Patricia Jefferson-Shaw
Patricia Jefferson-Shaw (PJ) came to American Safety Institute (ASI) after twenty-six years of law enforcement experience with twenty-three years of service to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP). At the FHP, she currently serves as a certified law enforcement instructor, assisting the Troop Training Coordinator, and holds the rank of Senior Corporal. She works with the Public Affairs Officer, conducting traffic safety programs for schools, churches, civic groups, military personnel, and other interested parties and various highway safety programs.
PJ’s motto is to help save lives and working with ASI will certainly allow her to project her knowledge and experience upon others. She brings twenty-six years of experience to ASI and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Barry University and a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Saint Leo University. She is currently in the Doctoral Program at North Central University to become a Doctor of Business Administration with a specialization in Psychology and Criminal Justice.
An important aspect of her life is God and her family (Her husband who is a Lieutenant and ASI Instructor, her daughter who is a Duty Officer and her son is in high school). Additionally, she attends the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ in Quincy, Florida.
